Sliding Model Control Meets Network Challenges

Sliding Model Control Meets Network Challenges

報告題目:Sliding Model Control Meets Network Challenges

報告人:Hamid Reza Karimi, 意大利米蘭理工大學

報告簡介:The objective of this talk is to review some recent results on the utilization of sliding mode control (SMC) technique in theory and practical aspects towards application to networked control systems (NCSs). In particular, SMC for NCSs with Markovain switching parameters that encounter random changes in system parameters and structures will be presented by considering some features such as the event-triggered strategy  in transmission line and network-induced delays, then their effects on the system performance will be discussed. Finally, some concluding remarks are provided.

報告人簡介:Hamid Reza Karimi (M’06–SM’09) received the B.Sc. (First Hons.) degree in power systems from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1998, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. (First Hons.) degrees in control systems engineering from the University of Tehran, Tehran, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. From 2009 to 2016 he was a full professor of Mechatronics and Control Systems at University of Agder in Norway. Since 2016, he has been a professor of Applied Mechanics with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politecnico   di   Milano,  Milan,   Italy.  His   current research   interests    include   control   systems   and mechatronics with applications to automotive control systems, vibration systems and wind energy. Dr. Karimi is currently the Editor-in-Chief of many international journals.
